Curator Bridgette Mayer selected Gateway to the Dance Floor for inclusion in Congruence, the summer 2020 juried exhibition on I Like Your Work.  The work was created by Painting & Drawing Fellow Suzanne Wright during her 2019-2020 residency at the Grant Wood Art Colony.  Mayer explains her selection, "The artists I selected from this recent call for I Like Your Work Podcast Summer Juried Exhibition had a high degree of personal congruence that stood out.  I found that many of them had harmony in their portfolios and how they presented their work for the call to art." Gateway to the Dance Floor is on display at CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids until July 26, 2020, as part of Wright's solo show entitled Meditations on Transformation and Perspective. The exhibit can also be viewed online by visiting the CSPS Hall website.
