Celebrating Robert Rauschenberg: Dance, Art, and Collaboration at Hancher

November 1 through 7, current and Former Grant Wood Fellows Kyle Marshall, Christopher-Rasheem McMillan, and Tony Orrico will play key roles in Hancher Auditorium’s celebration of Robert Rauschenberg’s centennial with the Trisha Brown Dance Company. Through performances, installations, and discussions, they honor the experimental legacy of Rauschenberg, Brown, and Merce Cunningham—bridging dance, visual art, and interdisciplinary collaboration at the University of Iowa.

Grant Wood Painting & Drawing Fellow Ada Friedman will open a solo show entitled, "Star," at the Kendra Jayne Patrick Fine Art gallery in Bern, Switzerland. The show is open from October 11 to December 13, 2025.
