Monday, March 30, 2026
This spring, the Grant Wood Art Colony presents a vibrant series of exhibitions, performances, and artist talks featuring Grant Wood Fellows and their students from early April through mid‑May. Highlights include the Spring Painting & Drawing MFA Exhibition, House Music (April 1–25), artist talks by Kyle Marshall, Elizabeth Rose, and Ada Friedman, and sustainability‑focused work by Rose in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability. Kyle Marshall will perform in the Visual Arts Building Atrium on May 7, followed by a residency of the Kyle Marshall Dance Company from May 25–30, culminating in a public performance on May 30. Solo exhibitions by Ada Friedman and Elizabeth Rose close the academic year, collectively showcasing experimentation, interdisciplinary practice, and creative community across campus.
